It used to be difficult to model compounds or proteins and they had to be done in specific programs. Now a good website is all you need to draw a complex compound, or in some cases you can just write the molecule name and it can come up with the three dimensional structure of the compound.
There are several links that may be useful:
https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ This is great for chemical molecules and also has a good display capability to show the 3D structure of the molecule. Try small chemical molecules but also proteins. Some protein structure comes from Alphafold so its structure can be easily visualized.
https://3d.nih.gov/: This site enables the 3d design of simple chemical compounds but also complex three-dimensional shapes of proteins. These can also be exported as STL files that can be 3d printed. There is also a representation that can be shown on VR glasses for a 3 dimensional display.
https://bioart.niaid.nih.gov/ While there also check out the availability of biological 3D art that can be used for illustration purposes.
This makes chemistry and 3D models very accessible.
