Confocal imaging and 3D projection movies

Tissue sections of rat brain were made on a microtome, fixed and stained with a nuclear dye. The tissue section was then imaged on a confocal microscope. The images were then put together as a 3D projection. This 3D projection was then made into a rotational movie for easy observation.

The movie below has been enhanced for 3D visualization by Anaglyph techniques (red and green glasses). If you have 3D glasses please wear them for the best results.
